FKF Caretaker Committee Suspends Kenya’s Top Five Football Divisions for Two Weeks

The Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee has suspended all national leagues in the country for two weeks.

The announcement means that the FKF Premier League, National Super League, the FKF Division One, Women’s Premier League and Division One Leagues remain suspended at the moment.

The Caretaker Committee led by Rtd. Justice Aaron Ringera made the announcement on Friday afternoon soon after meeting with Sports Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohamed who had handed over the FKF 

The Committee has announced however, that all grassroot leagues will continue, but the top leagues will be halted till November 26 to allow for what they termed as regularisation.

“We wish to assure all lovers of Kenyan football that the committee will ensure smooth operations of all football activities across the country and beyond,” a statement from Ringera read.
